Optimising system performance monitoring
Revision as of 19:45, 4 February 2026 by Stefan Winter, PTB (Admin) (talk | contribs) (Initial description of the text to write.)
Models for the propagation of measurement uncertainty in PV systems from sensors to performance indicators such as performance ratio as defined in IEC 61724-1:2021, primary quantities (irradiance, output power), and auxiliary quantities (e.g. temperature, wind speed, clear-sky index, etc) will be given and explained.
In addition, good practice guidelines on the accurate, cost-efficient monitoring of PV systems (bifacial, single-axis tracker and commercial-rooftop) based on the optimisation of sensor selection and placement will be shown.
